EducationColorado.org is a political organization established by The Salt and Light Institute, LLC., located here in Colorado. The Salt and Light Institute was legally formed in June, 2023, to inform Coloradans on the issue of Educational Freedom.

We are a grassroots organization dedicated to bringing freedom for parents and legal guardians of minor children to choose a school that best meets their children’s needs, and the government provides the funding.Parents (P & G) can choose either public schools, a private school, or home school, and receive funding from the government.

We are organizing to place an initiative on the Colorado November Ballot in 2026. Upon approval by the Colorado voters, an Educational Freedom Amendment will be added to the Colorado Constitution.

We need citizens who value educational freedom to: 1) circulate an Initiative petition once approved by the Colorado Secretary of State, and/or 2) volunteer to help with all the organizational positions needed to secure victory in this campaign, and/or 3) donate money to help pay for the expenses of running this campaign. We have no endowment, no other affiliations that provide funding, we rely solely on citizens who wish to support this cause.
