Educational Freedom is about allowing children to receive an education that instills the ideals that were prevalent at the founding of America. Ideals such as:

Liberty and Justice for all (picture)

Virtue and Morality

We see these in the Declaration of Independence, 1776

“… all men are created equal, they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness…”

We see them in the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution, 1778

“We the people … in order to establish Justice … and secure the blessings of Liberty”

Our Founding Fathers said the following statements:

”Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people …” (John Adams)

“…reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles “ (George Washington)

“Freedom is a gift of God Almighty, our Creator …” (Samuel Adams)

No, freedoms are not granted by governments, they are endowed by the Creator. From governments come tyranny: the taking away of rights, choices, and resources of the people.

Before education first came under the authority of the State in Massachusetts in 1837, the children of our forefathers received their education in their families, and in the churches. Children had:

A Desire to learn

Curiosity and Creativity

Education maintained a child’s innocense

In 2016, a Gallup study found that in public schools, student engagement in learning steadily declined beginning in the Sixth Grade, that by high school only a third of the students were engaged in their studies.

Did you know that when you enroll your children in a government-run public school, legally you are turning their education over to the public school, you no longer have the control of their education?

In America’s political climate bristling with “hostility to all things religious,” prayers are no longer allowed in public school classrooms, nor are the Ten Commandments allowed on the walls. Yet students are taught that mankind evolved from fish and apes.

Our country was founded on unalienable rights. The Declaration of independence asserts that all (parents) have unalienable rights to educate their children, including liberty, and that a government’s central purpose is to defend those rights.
